Three numbers tell you almost everything about an LVP product: wear layer, core construction, and total thickness. We'll walk you through what they mean during the consultation.

Wear layer 12-20 mil - residential, light traffic (rentals, bedrooms)
Wear layer 22 mil - residential whole-home (most popular)

Click-lock LVP floats over the slab, installs fast, and is easy to repair. Glue-down LVP feels more solid underfoot, is quieter, and is the better choice for very large open floor plans and high-traffic commercial spaces. Quality LVP with a 22+ mil wear layer lasts 20-25 years in a typical home, and our low humidity means no cupping or swelling concerns the way solid wood can have. Commercial-rated LVP can go 25-30 years.
